Tuning and Regulation - As the owner of a new instrument, you should know that you are embarking on a new relationship: one that will return great rewards. However, it is important that you enlist the professional service of a registered piano technician to care for the piano. Tuning is recommended at a minimum to be done twice a year. This is to aid the process of adjustment of the instrument as it responds to seasonal humidity changes. Regulation should be done as needed, but if regulated properly and consistently, the result will be an instrument that responds with tighter tolerances and requires less maintenance in the long run.

Humidity Control - With every new grand or upright that we sell, included is a Dampp Chaser humidity control system. In the absence of precision central humidity control, these units do an excellent job of maintaining the micro-environment of the piano to the recommended 42%. Each one is constructed with regard to a specific piano design and is completely self-contained within the instrument.
